CYBER-BULLYING

Apa itu "Cyber-bullying"? Menurut Wikipedia, Cyberbullying adalah

Segala bentuk kekerasan yang dialami anak atau remaja dan dilakukan teman seusia mereka melalui dunia cyber atau internet. Cyber bullying adalah kejadian manakala seorang anak atau remaja diejek, dihina, diintimidasi, atau dipermalukan oleh anak atau remaja lain melalui media internet, teknologi digital atau telepon seluler.

Hal seperti cyber-bullying ini sudah menjadi hal yang biasa untuk semua kalangan; orang dewasa maupun anak-anak; tetapi ada yang membedakan untuk usia tertentu. Cyberbullying dinyatakan benar atau valid jika kedua pihak (atau lebih) berusia dibawah 18 tahun. Lalu bagaimana dengan yang diatas 18 tahun? Untuk yg berumur 18 tahun keatas dikategorikan sebagai Cyber crime/stalking. 

Cyberbullying ini juga berkaitan dengan hal yang dinamakan Trolling. Berikut adalah sedikit penjelasan tentang cyberbullying dan trolling.

Peristiwa cyberbullying dan trolling seringkali terjadi di media sosial. Banyak sekali pengguna media sosial seperti Facebook atau Twitter yang mem-bully pengguna lainnya. Demikian juga dengan trolling. Trolling adalah perilaku yang sering terjadi di forum online dan halaman Facebook dengan memberikan komentar terus-menerus (bombardir komentar) yang berisi penghinaan, provokasi atau ancaman. Sejauh ini belum diketahui apa sebab terjadinya cyberbullying dan trolling tersebut.

Sebuah riset yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Claire Hardaker seorang ahli linguistik  dari Universitas Lancaster  berusaha mengungkap penyebab cyberbullying dan trolling di media sosial tersebut. Berdasarkan 4.000 kasus yang melibatkan trolling ia menarik kesimpulan bahwa kebosanan (boredom) berada di balik banyak peristiwa cyberbullying dan trolling.

Metode paling banyak yang digunakan trolls (pelaku trolling) di situs Facebook dan Twitter adalah memicu kemarahan untuk kesenangan diri mereka sendiri. Ini artinya trollsmemang sengaja memancing pengguna Facebook atau Twitter untuk marah agar mereka merasa senang.

Para pendukung trolling mengatakan bahwa perilaku mereka tersebut tidak lain adalah humor dan kenakalan biasa serta kebebasan berbicara, namun sebenarnya trolling tersebut adalah pelecehan dan hate speech. Troll beroperasi karena merasa memiliki kekuasaan, mencari hiburan, kebosanan dan balas dendam, terlebih hal ini dilayani dengan baik oleh adanya anonimitas di internet.

Disini kita bisa menarik suatu kesimpulan bahwa dunia maya (internet) bisa menjadi suatu sumber yang dapat kita manfaatkan utk pengetahuan kita, tetapi dunia internet juga dapat menjadi suatu sumber yang dapat merubah diri kita. Apakah ada yang menjadi korban karena hal cyberbullying? Jelas, iya, dan hal ini masih terjadi sampai detik ini. Banyak yang terpengaruh utk melakukan hal ini dan mereka tidak merasa bersalah, maka dari itu perilaku seperti ini sangatlah tidak baik, bagaimanapun alasannya.

Fenomena Budaya Tawuran Dan Cabe-cabean

Latar Belakang

Fenomena Tawuran sepertinya sudah menjadi bagian dari budaya bangsa Indonesia. Sehingga jika mendengar kata tawuran, sepertinya masyarakat Indonesia sudah tidak asing lagi. Hampir setiap minggu, berita itu menghiasi media massa. Bukan hanya tawuran antar pelajar saja tetapi juga tawuran antar polisi dan tentara, antar polisi pamong praja dengan pedagang kaki lima, sungguh menyedihkan.

Fenomena cabe cabean pun tidak kalah membooming dengan fenomena tawuran. Sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia sudah tidak asing lagi dengan fenomena cabe cabean dan segala istilah-istilahnya. Mulai dari cara berpakaian hingga cara berbicara. Istilah ini menyebar secara viral dan dikenal luas karena dianggap mencerminkan sejumlah remaja anak zaman sekarang.

1.    Fenomena Tawuran

Tawuran antara pelajar saat ini sudah menjadi masalah yang sangat mengganggu ketertiban masyarakat dan keamanan lingkungan sekitarnya. Tawuran pelajar tentunya melibatkan pihak sekolah, guru dan masyarakat yang melihat pasti dibuat bingung dan takut bagaimana menanganinya, sampai akhirnya melibatkan pihak kepolisian.

Hal ini tampak karena senjata yang biasa di gunakan oleh pelajar pada saat tawuran bukan senjata biasa. Bukan lagi mengandalkan keterampilan tangan, tinju satu lawan satu. Sekarang, tawuran sudah menggunakan alat bantu, seperti benda yang ada di sekeliling (batu dan kayu) mereka juga menggunakan senjata tajam layaknya film action di layar lebardengan senjata yang bisa merenggut nyawa seseorang. Contohnya seperti samurai, besi bergerigi yang sengaja dipasang di sabuk, pisau dan masih banyak lagi.

Penyimpangan seperti tawuran antar pelajar, menjadi kerusuhan yang dapat menghilangkan nyawa seseorang tidak bisa disebut sebagai kenakalan remaja, namun sudah menjadi tindakan kriminal.

Seorang pelajar seharusanya tidak melakukan hal yang tidak terpui seperti tawuran. Namun di usia remaja yang masih labil tingkat emosinya justru menanggapi sebagai sebuah tantangan.

Faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya tawuran

a.    Terjadi karena ketersinggungan salah satu kawan

b.    Jiwa premanisme yang tumbuh dalam jiwa pelajar

c.    Rasa setia kawan yang berlebihan

d.   Remaja yang terlalu dikendalikan oleh orang tua

e.    Tekanan kelompok sebaya

2.    Fenomena Cabe Cabean

Kata cabe cabean tentunya sudah tidak asing lagi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Cabe cabean adalah sebutan bagi remaja putri yang senang keluyuran malam dan nongkrong di balapan liar. Usia mereka umunya sama, kisaran SMP dan SMA.

Psikolog Klinik Anak dan Dewasa, Rosdiana Setyaningrum, menjelaskan bahwa anak-anak usia 14 tahun hingga 18 tahun memang harus hati-hati dalam mendidiknya. Apalagi masa remaja adalah masa pencarian jati diri.

Menurut Diana, saat remaja mencari jati dirinya, ada yang memiliki cara yang baik dengan berprestasi dan ada yang memilih cara instan dengan bersenang-senang seperti cabe cabean.

Ciri-ciri dari cabe cabean :

a.    Berbehel hanya untuk sekedar gaya

b.    Make-up salah waktu

c.    Seringkali pacaran di sembarang tempat dan di keramaian

d.   Berbaju minim diberbagai tempat

Faktor yang menyebabkan fenomena ini mucul :

1.    Faktor media

2.    Faktor keluarga

3.    Faktor lingkungan

Kesimpulan

Dari pembahasan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa fenomena tawuran dan cabe cabean sudah sangat beredar di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Dari fenomena-fenomena tersebut dapat dilihat pula bahwa hal tersebut terjadi secara garis besar terjadi pada kalangan remaja. Hal tersebut tentunya berkaitan dengan pendidikan baik di rumah, di sekolah maupun di masyarakat sekitar. Sekolah punya peran penting dalam mendidik siswa dan siswinya agar menjadi pelajar yang terdidik. Tidak hanya sekolah lingkungan dirumah atau keluarga pun sangat mempunyai peran penting dimana orang tua harus selalu mengawasi dan memberikan pendidikan terhadap anak akan hal-hal yang positif. Selain lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan di rumah, lingkungan di sekitar pun sangat mempengaruhi pergaulan dari anak remaja. Kembali lagi kepada orang tua sebagi peranan penting dalam mendidik anak tentunya harus mengawasi lingkungan disekitar anak dengan cara mendekatan diri kepada anak.
