Manusia Dan Penderitaan
Latar Belakang
Penderitaan merupakan realitas dunia dan manusia. Peranan individu juga menentukan berat tidaknya intensitas penderitaan. Suatu peristiwa yang dianggap penderitaan oleh seseorang, belum tentu merupakan penderitaan bagi orang lain. Karena penderitaan yang banyak jenisnya, ada yang mendapat hikmah yang besar dari suatu penderitaan, ada pula yang menyebabkan kehancuran dalam hidupnya. Oleh karena itu, penderitaan belum tentu tidak bermanfaat.I. Definisi Penderitaan
Penderitaan berasal dari kata derita. Derita berasal dari bahasa sansekerta yaitu dhra yang artinya menahan atau menanggung. Derita artinya menanggung atau merasakan sesuatu yang tidak menyenangkan. Berbagai kasus penderitaan terdapat dalam kehidupan. Penderitaan akan dialami oleh semua orang, hal itu sudah merupak risiko dari hidup. Tuhan memberikan kesenangan dan kenikmatan kepada umatnya, tetapi juga memberikan penderitaan atau kesedihan agar manusia sadar untuk tidak memalingkan-Nya.
Sebab-sebab penderitaan:
a. Penderitaan yang timbul karena penyakit, siksaan atau azab Tuhan.
b. Penderitaan yang timbul karena perbuatan manusia.
c. Penderitaan Media Massa dan Seniman.
d. Pengaruh Penderitaan
e. Penderitaan dan Perjuangan
f. Siksaan
II. Pengaruh Penderitaan Terhadap Kelangsungan Hidup Manusia
Penderitaan mungkin akan memperoleh pengaruh bermacam-macam dan sikap dalam dalam dirinya. Sikap yang timbul dapat berupa sikap positif dan sikap negatif. Sikap negatif misalnya penyesalan karena tidak bahagia, sikap kecewa, putus asa, ingin bunuh diri. Sikap positif yaitu sikap yang selalu optimis mengatasi penderitaan hidup, bahwa hidup bukan rangkaian penderitaan, melainkan perjuangan membebaskan diri dari penderitaan, dan penderitaan itu adalah hanya bagian dari kehidupan.Orang yang merasa dirinya menderita akan mendapat tekanan dari dalam jiwanya dan rasa malu. Tak jarang banyak manusia yang ingin mengakhiri hidupnya karena tidak kuat menopang siksaan dalam hidupnya. Ini terjadi karena kekalutan mental. Kekalutan mental merupakan suatu keadaan dimana jiwa seseorang mengalami kekacauan dan kebingungan dalam dirinya sehingga ia merasa tidak berdaya.
Gejala-gejala permulaan pada orang yang mengalami kekalutan mental sebagai berikut:
- Fisiknya sering merasa pusing, sesak napas, demam dan nyeri pada lambung.
- Jiwanya sering mununjukkan rasa cemas, ketakutan, patah hati dan apatis.
III. Contoh-contoh Penderitaan dan Penyebabnya
- Nasib Buruk, penderitaan ini karena perbuatan buruk manusia yang dapat terjadi dalam hubungan sesama manusia dan alam sekitarnya. Perbedaan nasib buruk dan takdir adalah jika takdir tidak ditentukan oleh Tuhan sedangkan nasib buruk penyebab karena ulah manusia itu sendiri. Contoh : penderitaan yang timbu karenan penyakit, siksaan atau azab Tuhan. Dengan kesabaran dan tawakal dan optimisme merupakan usaha manusia untuk mengatasi penderitaan tersebut.
- Kehilangan Orang Tua, setiap manusia pasti mencintai oorang tuanya dan memilki hubungan yang erat dengan keluarganya. Tapi kesedihan karena penderitaan diharapkan tidak berlarut-larut karena semua manusia yang hidup pasti akan kembali kepada tuhannya.
- Kemiskinan, banyak orang yang menderita karena kemiskinan, merasa tidak pernah cukup dengan apa yang telah ia punya sehingga mengakibatkan seseorang merasa menderita karena tidak memiliki sesuatu yang ia inginkan.
- Bencana, tidak ada seorang pun yang dapat menghindari bencana yang tuhan berikan. Bencana bisa kapan saja datang dan menimpa siapa saja bahkan seringkali menyebabkan kematian. Trauma batin yang diakibatkan karena bencana juga sulit di sembuhkan.

CYBER-BULLYING
Apa itu "Cyber-bullying"? Menurut Wikipedia, Cyberbullying adalah
Hal seperti cyber-bullying ini sudah menjadi hal yang biasa untuk semua kalangan; orang dewasa maupun anak-anak; tetapi ada yang membedakan untuk usia tertentu. Cyberbullying dinyatakan benar atau valid jika kedua pihak (atau lebih) berusia dibawah 18 tahun. Lalu bagaimana dengan yang diatas 18 tahun? Untuk yg berumur 18 tahun keatas dikategorikan sebagai Cyber crime/stalking.
Cyberbullying ini juga berkaitan dengan hal yang dinamakan Trolling. Berikut adalah sedikit penjelasan tentang cyberbullying dan trolling.
Peristiwa cyberbullying dan trolling seringkali terjadi di media sosial. Banyak sekali pengguna media sosial seperti Facebook atau Twitter yang mem-bully pengguna lainnya. Demikian juga dengan trolling. Trolling adalah perilaku yang sering terjadi di forum online dan halaman Facebook dengan memberikan komentar terus-menerus (bombardir komentar) yang berisi penghinaan, provokasi atau ancaman. Sejauh ini belum diketahui apa sebab terjadinya cyberbullying dan trolling tersebut.
Sebuah riset yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Claire Hardaker seorang ahli linguistik dari Universitas Lancaster berusaha mengungkap penyebab cyberbullying dan trolling di media sosial tersebut. Berdasarkan 4.000 kasus yang melibatkan trolling ia menarik kesimpulan bahwa kebosanan (boredom) berada di balik banyak peristiwa cyberbullying dan trolling.
Metode paling banyak yang digunakan trolls (pelaku trolling) di situs Facebook dan Twitter adalah memicu kemarahan untuk kesenangan diri mereka sendiri. Ini artinya trollsmemang sengaja memancing pengguna Facebook atau Twitter untuk marah agar mereka merasa senang.
Para pendukung trolling mengatakan bahwa perilaku mereka tersebut tidak lain adalah humor dan kenakalan biasa serta kebebasan berbicara, namun sebenarnya trolling tersebut adalah pelecehan dan hate speech. Troll beroperasi karena merasa memiliki kekuasaan, mencari hiburan, kebosanan dan balas dendam, terlebih hal ini dilayani dengan baik oleh adanya anonimitas di internet.
Disini kita bisa menarik suatu kesimpulan bahwa dunia maya (internet) bisa menjadi suatu sumber yang dapat kita manfaatkan utk pengetahuan kita, tetapi dunia internet juga dapat menjadi suatu sumber yang dapat merubah diri kita. Apakah ada yang menjadi korban karena hal cyberbullying? Jelas, iya, dan hal ini masih terjadi sampai detik ini. Banyak yang terpengaruh utk melakukan hal ini dan mereka tidak merasa bersalah, maka dari itu perilaku seperti ini sangatlah tidak baik, bagaimanapun alasannya.
